Time for Talk is the culmination of more than 14 years of commitment to part time study. The drive to continue was all about a passion to help others. 

Time for Talk aims to provide compassionate, confidential, and client-centered counselling services, that support the emotional well-being, personal growth, and meaningful change in individuals lives.

Our goals are to promote mental health and well-being and to empower clients to develop healthy coping strategies and achieve emotional resilience. We aim to provide accessible and inclusive care.

Time for talk wants to help clients gain insight, increase self-awareness and reach their personal and professional potential.

Monica Zochling

Monica is the founder of Time for Talk. She is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor committed to providing client focused, evidence informed therapy tailored to individual needs. With a strong belief in the power of therapeutic relationships Monica works collaboratively with clients to help them navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. Passionate about empowering individuals to live their best lives, Monica creates a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. Monica's approach integrates empathy, respect, and practical strategies to support lasting change and emotional well-being.

Monica has a well-rounded career that has exposed her to many different workplaces including ACT Government, Community Sector, Corporate and Commonwealth Government. Monica brings years of HR, professional career counselling, leadership and a thorough understanding of workplace issues that affect the psychosocial well-being of clients.

Monica’s extensive study includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor or Science in Psychology with First Class Honours, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a Masters of Counselling. This study together with her lived experience means she has a solid understanding of people and how they think, feel, behave and respond to a variety of situations. Monica has the capacity to empathise and support you with your current or past life hurdles that are challenging you or impacting your relationships.
